Pros

The construction of the smoker is very sturdy and it will last for a very long time. There is ample space for cooking a huge quantity of food. The size is small enough for it to be carried around the house or it can also be loaded and taken to a friend’s house.

The temperature and the amount of smoke can be controlled to a very small degree which provides complete control on the flavor of food. There are no sharp edges and it is very easy to operate. It does not produce much noise. It produces a very small amount of smoke. It is very easy to assemble and comes with proper directions to assemble.

Cons

Some of the customers have reported that the heating element has failed after some time. We have been using it for the past 12 months and we have not found this to be true. They might have been shipped a faulty unit. Most of the customers who reported problems with the heating element were satisfied with the replacement heating element sent by the company.

They reported their smoker working perfectly after the replacement. Another problem which some of the customers have reported that is the placement of digital controls could have been better. Some of the older customers have found it problematic to kneel down and set the controls. But this is not a big issue in our opinion.

The Verdict

In our opinion, this digital smoker from Bradley is one of the better smokers in this price range. The digital technology allows us to control everything very easily allowing you to “micro-manage” the heat and smoke settings.  Another good thing about this smoker is that it is completely hands-off and you just need to put in the food and set the temperature and amount of smoke. There’s very little babysitting required.
